A time-based controller applies braking power at a fixed rate that is not proportional to the amount of pressure applied to the brake pedal. It's a reliable, cost-effective approach that makes it great for towing small items like ATVs or riding lawn mowers.

The brake controller conveniently mounts beneath the dash, and quickly connects to the vehicle's trailer wiring. Its easy-to-adjust trim wheel lets you set the power level needed to brake. The 5/8 in. diameter D-ring comes with a forged mounting bracket welded onto a steel plate. A black powder-coated finish adds durability and corrosion protection.

Mounting hardware and two back support bars are included. Be sure to check the capacity of the surface you are mounting prior to use.
